Last week, Eternal Turf and Pavers were working on a project across the street for my neighbor when I had the chance to meet the owner, Guy. He came over, introduced himself, and we struck up a conversation. I mentioned that I had a sunken divot in my front yard turf—installed by another company about five years ago—that had become a concern with kids and dogs constantly playing on it.Guy took the time to listen and then clearly explained a simple, effective potential solution. I was hesitant because I didn’t want the repair to leave visible seams or make the turf look mismatched, but he reassured me it could be done cleanly.He had a team member out the very next day. They showed up on time, handled everything professionally, and didn’t need any direction or oversight. When I got home that evening, the difference was impressive—the hole was completely gone, and there were absolutely no visible seams. On top of that, they added fresh infill, cleaned, and refreshed the turf so it looks better than it has in years.Great experience from start to finish. For years, I wanted to improve the plain and boring look of my front yard. But I put it off because I wasn’t sure of a design. A while back, I also had a bad experience with a contractor who did tile work and other landscaping in my back yard. For this reason, I wasn’t eager to hire another. Finally, about 6 months ago, I decided I was ready to move forward with the project.Based on Google and Yelp reviews, I narrowed down the contractor search to two companies – one of which was Eternal Turf and Pavers (“ETP”). After I had spoken with ETP, the second company (not to be named) came by to discuss the project. Both companies made good presentations, and I went with the second mostly because I spoke with them last and wanted to get things moving as soon as possible. That turned out to be a mistake.After receiving my $1,000 deposit, the second company wasn’t very responsive. When they finally prepared a diagram of the project for my HOA, it was lacking in detail, had no renderings, and was not professionally done. I submitted it to the HOA anyway hoping for the best. But the HOA rejected the application because the diagram didn’t comply with HOA guidelines – something I later found out the company never checked. This set me back months. When my follow-up calls to the company were mostly ignored, I decided to go with ETP even though it meant losing my original $1,000 deposit.My experience with ETP was nothing like what I went through with the second company. ETP put together a comprehensive application for the HOA that met all the rule requirements. It covered everything leaving little for me to do. ETP also provided me with a proposed design that was much nicer than my original plan. The application they put together was professionally done, comprehensive and had nice renderings of what the final product would look like.Most important, the construction was done by workers who clearly were very experienced. The steps, pillars, retaining wall and paver walkway tracked the plan exactly. And because the crew was skilled in their work, everything was completed in several days without excessive delays. The company’s owner was very responsive throughout the process and personally would check on the work. Everything came out great. (See before and after pictures.) If you’re thinking of a landscape project, I highly recommend ETP.

Premium service at a great price !Eternal turf did an amazing job turning my backyard into a space that I crave escaping into. I was unable to get a recommendation from any of my friends as they were never happy with the quality of service they got. I contacted Eternal based on their stellar reviews and Guy was the only one among the contractors I interviewed who suggested modifications to the project that would actually meet my budget instead of trying to upsell. They were also really accommodating about changes we had to do in the middle of the project and still able to complete on time. The workers were friendly, kept their site clean and enjoyed their time on the project. The owner Alon also showed up multiple times to ensure everything is going smoothly.

Before reaching out to Eternal Turf And Paver, I had the backyard graded and put up a DIY fence. Since I was doing things on my own, and I thought that I could put in the concrete myself. After a few months of mulling it over and considering how much work it would actually take, I decided to take some quotes and went ahead with Alon. Working with Alon was a great experience. He’s easy to talk to and makes the process enjoyable. Once we clarified the scope of work and agreed on a price, he even helped arrange a construction loan that was only paid out upon my satisfaction with the job.Although Alon usually focuses on pavers, I had a specific vision for concrete stepping stones — and he was flexible and willing to make it happen. The entire project was completed in just three days: one day for demolition, grading, framing, and laying the base; another day for pouring; and a final day for removing the framing. Three days total!I’m more than pleased with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to call Alon again or recommend Eternal Turf and Pavers to others.

Alon came over and he was so easy to work with, it was almost a no brainer. I still wanted to get a couple of other qoutes just to make sure, so I shopped around and Alon's price was very competative, knowing I get warranty and licensed workers I went with him. So happy! Alon is AMAZING he explained the process in a way I understood. The next day an army of guys showed up and took care of the clean up and a few hours the whole backyard was free of roots, irrigation pipes, cement, and pavers. At completion, we had a final meeting with Alon to verify that everything was to our satisfaction.There were no delays in the installation, as soon as we got the approval they moved to start, and finished in record time. The teams are hard working and friendly, and do a high quality job. The way they installed the pavers for us created a pleasing pattern. His foreman worked with us closely when there were any decisions to be made and they had some very creative solutions that we were happy to go with. They showed up on time every day and finished on time before five o’clock, and always left a tidy worksite. He gave us a very good estimate, delivered everything he promised and his team was very professional and attentive to detail. Others wanted to charge us extra for any extra detail, but Alon agreed to fix some of the pavers around our fire pit without extra cost. The backyard looks great so we are very happy with the result. They did the job very efficiently and completed the work in only 2 days. I highly recommend Alon & Eternal Turf for any outdoor project that you have and would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

A landscape company that does what they say in the time they quote. They could have finished in a week as he quoted if it were not for me delaying the project to procure trees. Matched or beat other contractors price but with better materials and added a nice little putting green as a bonus. Overall great experience.

I rarely do reviews but I must say that the work of Eternal Turf and pavers was very impressive. I am very satisfied with the whole process from HOA filing and to the finish. I couldn't be more impressed with their speed as the project was done in one week. The workers were very polite and professional. I've had a couple of projects done on my previous houses and it took several months. The reason that I chose Eternal Turf and pavers was because Alon was very upfront about cost and design, and my neighbors(3) chose his company, and the price was very reasonable. It was a pleasant experience dealing with Alon, and he is an honest young man who works very hard and make sure his customers are satisfied with finished projects. Eternal Turf and Pavers is the real deal. I rarely do Yelp reviews but I thought I had to recommend Eternal and Alon Dvir as they are by far the best, most honest landscape contractors in San Diego. And I shopped around for price too. I am a real estate attorney and see many disputes about landscaping, either not properly done, or unfinished work. I chose Alon because his price was right and his reviews were awesome. Best decision I could have made. From design, to HOA submittal, to actual construction, he delivered exactly as promised. It was installed in only 4 days transforming my dirt backyard into a beautiful useable oasis. The picture attached do not do it justice because the tree planting behind the retaining wall has not been done by my tree guy yet, but you can see the transformation.

We had a great experience with Eternal Turf and Pavers! Alon was different. We had 3 other estimates for our backyard re-model. The price was very competitive and fair, Alon was always available, offered suggestions that made us think and ultimately settle on the best design we could have imagined. The other companies gave us a 2 week timeline to finish our project, but Alon gave us a less than a week timeline and finished in 4 days. He had 4-5 guys on our job everyday. We cannot recommend Eternal Turf and Pavers and Alon more!!!

Alon and his team were absolutely amazing! We did not know exactly what we wanted to do in our backyard, only that we wanted turf. Alon was very helpful and full of ideas and suggestions, but it never felt like he was trying to convince us to do something specific. He consistently reminded us that it was what we wanted to do and what we envisioned. We ended up deciding on turf, a new retaining wall, and some stepping stones for our grill area. The team finished everything in only three days, just before the holidays. To say I was impressed would be an understatement! Best company ever!Alon is super personable and it’s obvious he is dedicated to his work. He listened to what we had envisioned and added his own creativity. He was willing to work within our budget to make our vision come to life. His team worked extra hard to get the project done quicker than expected and were very respectful of our space.
